WHAT WE DO
We produce digital content for thought leaders so they can entertain, empower, and engage their audiences to create global change.
Step 1: Entertain audiences through film, video, and social media content.
With 20 years of experience creating content for film, video, social media, and events, our work spans from award-winning feature-length documentaries, to short-form social media content, commercials, infomercials, brand films, customer testimonials, and videos for fundraising, websites, and events. We work with clients and budgets of all sizes to create high quality entertainment for a variety of platforms.
Step 2: Empower fans to take action by speaking from where your audience is listening.
This means connecting with fans where they are, physically and emotionally. Having created social media content for over a decade, we have seen what works (quality and intention), what doesn’t (sensationalism), and we use this knowledge to craft social media content that empowers clients and their followers.
Step 3: Engage consumers using proven digital content release strategies.
Every successful engagement strategy must have a clear call-to-action. While having a good story and a strong social following are the first two pieces of the puzzle, campaigns falter if they are unclear what action audiences should take. We work with clients to facilitate audience insights, and then build the resulting call-to-action into every aspect of their digital campaign. This drives better results, whether that be sales, donations, political or social actions, and more.
Partners we’re proud to work with
Windy Borman is an incredible storyteller. I hired Windy to bring to life stories from the Women in Cannabis Study - her creative vision far exceeded my expectations and truly raised the level of professionalism for the entire project. Her passion for equity and inclusion was a huge benefit to the video series. And her attention to detail and project management abilities even helped to keep me on track. Windy managed to produce some amazing content for us, even on a tight budget. I'm looking forward to working with DVA Productions on more videos for the study!
Creative, competent and charming. Windy confronts any production challenge head-on, and determines a way to overcome it with panache - resulting in high quality media, grateful crews and happy clients. Everyone should have the pleasure of working with Windy, and I would be very happy to do so again.
Windy is an inspiring and innovative Director and Producer. As her producing partner on the 10-time award-winning documentary, "The Eyes of Thailand", narrated by Ashley Judd, I saw firsthand her passion for cause-oriented filmmaking never loses sight of the "big picture" or the bottom line. She is a strategic thinker, a creative problem-solver and a talented filmmaker.
Windy is an outstanding Executive Producer who has the unique ability to blend cinematic excellence with real-world business needs. The end result is cutting-edge video, which keeps the user-experience front and center while fostering revenue growth as well as satisfied customers. Beyond that Windy isn’t afraid to take chances and think big. She is capable of producing out of the box ideas as well as executing tried and true products seamlessly. I highly recommend Windy.
Windy Borman understands the challenges faced by small, non-profit groups like ours. She also creatively tells our stories in an effective, entertaining and informative manner.
With professionalism, inventiveness and robust energy, DVA Productions managed to capture, not only, the depth of experience for those involved with the project, but also the humor and dedication of cast and crew as the faced outrageous obstacles. Ms. Borman kept her artistic eye focused even while tromping through jungle terrain and tropical downpours.
Windy Borman is a consummate professional with a strategic eye and a unique ability to see the big picture, as well as the important details. I look forward to future collaborations.
DVA Productions designed, filmed, and produced a video for a Teach For America alumni conference, adding creative vision and expertise to the initial proposal and producing a video that exceeded our expectations. DVA Productions was extremely professional, reliable and a pleasure to work with.
Windy Borman designed and managed the social media outreach campaign for the international premieres of EthnoGraphic Media’s film, “Little Town of Bethlehem” in late 2009. Her enthusiasm, expertise and keen research skills resulted in a highly engaging and interactive presence on Facebook, the organization’s blog and Twitter that reached our constituents where they were and in ways that were natural fits for connection. She created engaging content with daily new, fresh information that made the organization a sought-out online destination throughout the two-week premiere cycle, building a strong foundation for future growth.
